Most engagements start as focused technical work and expand as complexity surfaces. I operate across the full stack: PCB-level constraints through cloud infrastructure.

Architecture Review

Project-based

Deep review of your IoT or embedded system architecture. I look at device firmware structure, network topology, data ingestion pipelines, and the boundaries where components interact. You get a written report with specific recommendations — not a deck of generalities.

IoT System Integration

Project-based

Multi-network device deployments, protocol bridging (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, LTE-M), cloud ingestion pipelines, and device lifecycle management. Particularly experienced with heterogeneous fleets where no two device types behave the same.

Production Debugging & Optimization

Retainer or project-based

When something is broken in production and nobody can figure out why. Field-deployed devices dropping data, ingestion pipelines silently losing events, firmware crashes that only happen under load. I find the root cause and fix it.

Embedded Firmware Development

Project-based

Custom firmware for STM32, ESP32, and similar MCUs. Sensor integration, communication stacks, power management, OTA update systems. I write firmware that survives deployment — not just firmware that compiles.

AI Intelligence Layer Design

Project-based

Your IoT pipeline collects and stores data correctly. What it can't do is answer questions that weren't anticipated when it was designed. I design the intelligence layer that sits above your existing stack — defining the translation interface, scoping what the model can access, and connecting data sources the pipeline can't combine on its own.
